How to Unlearn Weight Bias
(and Be at Peace With Your Body and Other Bodies)
Do you look at fat folks and see their beauty but struggle with your own body image and desire to be thin?
Perhaps sometimes you think “at least I’m not as big as her!” and then feel ashamed for thinking that.
Or you can’t shake the idea that having a smaller body means health and beauty or question “surely there must be a weight limit to body acceptance?”
If you’re struggling with overcoming weight bias then this workshop is for you!
Who is this for?
Live Training
Wednesday 31st July at 12pm PST/3pm EST
2 hour training and Q+A
Replay available
$97USD or 2 payments of $49
(for a 50% off price that contributes towards economic justice use code SPECIAL50)
What you’ll learn at the training:
Uncover your own negative beliefs about your body and leave with a clear and impactful action plan for overcoming them
Be curvy, but only in the right places. Be thin, but not too thin. Have a flat tummy and big pert boobs and never dare to age. Always wear make-up, but have a natural no-make-up look. Have tanned skin, but be white. And whatever you do - don’t gain weight!
Beauty standards are exhausting and impossible to maintain. For many the most pervasive and harmful is the demand to be thin to be seen as attractive, worthy and loveable, It’s almost impossible to avoid weight bias if you have a human brain and the effects of internalizing it can be truly devastating.

Freedom from weight bias is essential in order to accept your body now and as it changes throughout your life.
It’s not your fault you don’t like your body but it is your responsibility to reframe those harmful beliefs about fatness you’ve been taught... (even if the fatness you hate is your own).
This workshop is for you if you have thought:
I think fat people are beautiful, just not me.
I just FELT better when I was thinner.
I don’t like the feeling of fatness on my body.
It’s not about looks, it’s about health and I just know I’m not healthy when I’m at this weight.
I don’t want to be trapped in this body!
I was happier when I was smaller
The thought of gaining weight or staying this weight fills me with dread
I know it doesn’t align with my values but I just want to be thin.

FAQs
I can’t come live. Is there a replay?
Yes! A replay will be sent out shortly after the training. You can also ask me questions before the training for me to answer live.
How much is it?
It’s $97 USD or 2 payments of $49. If funds are an issue please use the code “SPECIAL50” at checkout
How long is it?
2 hours long. 1 hour and 30 minutes is the training portion and 30 minutes is the Q+A portion, however I will stay until every single question is answered!
I know nothing of fat liberation OR I already know a lot. Is this training suitable
I will start the training with some basic concepts so we are all on the same page and then going into more nuanced topics so that everyone will leave with something new. Even seasoned folks who have a very good understanding of fat lib have learned new concepts in this training!
Do I have to have to be fat?
No, this training is for people in all body sizes because anti-fat bias affects us all. With that in mind, it’s important to recognize that people in the biggest and most marginalized bodies will experience the most bias and exclusion and so bodies with the least privilege are centred.
Who is this for?
If you’d like to unlearn the beliefs that keep you focused on your (and maybe others) size and instead have peace with your body then this is the workshop for you.
BONUS!
Unlimited question and answer. Any questions about being fat-positive, overcoming weight stigma and body hate will be answered!
I will email before the training asking what questions you have so if you can’t come live they will still be answered!
What people are saying about training with Vinny
"This workshop was so helpful! I've been doing this work for several years, but as someone who holds a lot of body privilege, I am always looking for ways to be more inclusive and fat-positive.
I learned quite a few new things, giving me actionable ways to improve my social media and online presence moving forward. I appreciated how specific Vinny was about what to avoid and what to do instead. I loved the example disclaimers and the resource guide is incredible! I would highly recommend this to any practitioner with an online presence."
