Fat Positive Social Media
How to Avoid Critical Mistakes and What to Do Instead

Are you worried about getting cancelled? Don’t want to cause harm to fat folks? I get it.
I've been on the internet for a while, over 10 years sharing my online business and you know what that means...I have messed up more times than I can count.
I remember one time posting on Instagram and seeing tons of notifications come through. Thinking I had created a super engaging post, I clicked on the 1st comment only to read "this is so disappointing".
My heart sank and my pulse quickened as I read comment after comment condemning what I had posted.
Let me help you not make the same mistakes I made!

Replay of Live Training
2 hour training and Q+A
$97USD or 2 payments of $49
(for a 50% off price that contributes towards economic justice just email me)
Who is this for?
This training is suitable for dietitians, nutritionists, fitness coaches, therapists, health care providers, body acceptance coaches, or any professional wanting not to cause harm to fat folks with their social media presence.

What you’ll learn at the training:
Key up-to-date terminology (what language is ok to use and what’s a big no-no)
How not to f**k up
and avoid unintentional mistakes that can hurt fat clients on social media
What to do instead to position yourself as an ally and build trust with people of all sizes

At first I tried to defend my stance. They were misunderstanding me! I never meant to make anyone feel excluded, in fact the opposite. I'm a good person, aren't I? I responded to comments as fast as they came in, willing for them to appreciate my viewpoint, but it wasn't working. I quickly deleted the post, feeling deep shame and confusion.
I was making ALL the wrong moves. Making allllll the mistakes.

For what felt like an age, that fear of making a mistake and the consequences of that mistake stopped me from taking the action I knew I needed to in order to grow my business.
The thought of accidentally making someone feel bad after seeing my social media made me not want to make any social media posts or dread those 1st few comments coming in realising I had messed up.

This workshop is for you if:
You want to be more size-inclusive
You want to feel confident that what you’re posting isn’t going to get you called out for being harmful
You want fat clients to feel safe with you
You want to attract a range of clients in different body types
You want to live your values in your work but you’re nervous about speaking up, saying the wrong thing and offending people

BONUS!
37-page Size Diversity Resource guide to share with current clients so they (and you) can connect with the fat community
The Size Diversity Resource Guide includes links to all the best:

“Vinny, thanks so much for this training and the resource guide. This was beyond informative!”

Looking back I realize what goes into fucking up on social media:
If you're feeling like I was and you're committed to doing right by people in bigger bodies, coming to my training at the end of the month will be really impactful.
Something important for me is to lead with kindness and empathy and so I don't want you to feel embarrassed or ashamed for where you're at or because you've messed up in the past - shit, I have posted some really cringy things, so I can't talk ;)
So anyway, come along, we'll have fun!

"This workshop was so helpful! I've been doing this work for several years, but as someone who holds a lot of body privilege, I am always looking for ways to be more inclusive and fat-positive.
I learned quite a few new things, giving me actionable ways to improve my social media and online presence moving forward. I appreciated how specific Vinny was about what to avoid and what to do instead. I loved the example disclaimers and the resource guide is incredible! I would highly recommend this to any practitioner with an online presence."
